I have not abandoned

my blog. Life has just taken a turn toward the ordinary and humdrum this summer and who wants to write about that let alone think someone would want to read it.  So I just checked in this morning to say I'll be back once I finish the two commission pieces.  If all goes as planned that should be by the weekend. While sitting at the machine, I have tried not to moan over the fact that we have had three wonderful days of low for the summer temperatures and very low humidity here in mid Missouri that would have made dyeing fabric in the my garage dye area a joy.  But alas, it was not to be and so I will continue to sit and quilt.
